A little bit about me..
I am a 1st grade teacher in Iowa. The students are my "why". I work for an amazing district and feel so lucky to be surrounded by great people working together for what's best for kids. I am currently pursuing my master's degree in education, alongside my hubby who is working towards his MBA.
My family is extremely important to me. I am a bit of a homebody; and lucky me I am back in my hometown surrounded by my favorite people. My husband (Luke) and I moved back in the summer of 2015 and we were married in August of 2017. We have 2 kitties, Abe and Ollie, and 1 pup, Thor. I am the oldest of 4 kids (meaning I am the bossy-mom-wanna-be if you ask my brother), and Luke is the youngest of 4 kids. We love spending time with our families, and I'm sure you'll see a few posts about these folks so I'll go ahead and introduce them. They are the most important people in my life, my family and my Luke. I am so blessed to have such supportive, caring, loving people in my life. They are the reason I am who I am today!
